Secondary Teaching Assistant - Huddersfield

Protocol Education is seeking motivated and reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants to support partner schools across Huddersfield
.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or for experienced Teaching Assistants seeking flexible and rewarding work within secondary education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivering targeted interventions and booster sessions
  • Assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required
  • Helping maintain positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Encouraging student confidence, independence, and achievement
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting
  • Strong classroom presence and communication skills

    Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • An adaptable and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
