As an Exam Invigilator, you'll play an important role in ensuring exams run smoothly, fairly and in line with the required procedures. Duties may include:
- Preparing and setting up examination rooms
- Supervising students throughout examinations
- Ensuring exam rules and procedures are followed
- Distributing and collecting examination materials
- Supporting the orderly arrival and departure of candidates
- Maintaining a calm, quiet and professional exam environment
- Accompanying candidates when required, in accordance with exam procedures
Previous exam invigilation experience is preferred, but we'd also like to hear from candidates with relevant experience in education or support-based roles.
You'll need to be:- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Confident working with secondary-age students
- A clear and effective communicator
- Able to follow procedures carefully and consistently
- Equipped with good literacy and numeracy skills
- Calm, organised and attentive to detail
