Salary: £45,091‑£47,181 (subject to retention payment)

• Design and manage the performance for a range of capital projects involving multi‑discipline and single‑discipline design teams, preparing new build, refurbishment, and remodelling building contracts.
• Act as the Council’s Technical Authority in relation to its Built Environment and Assets, developing, implementing, monitoring, and amending technical specifications, strategies, practices, and standards to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

• A relevant professional or academic qualification or extensive experience that supports the skills needed for a Technical Services Officer (Structural).
• Strong IT skills with experience using a variety of packages such as Microsoft Office, Auto Desk, NBS, Tekla Tedds (Trimble) design packages.

• Additional Retention Payment of £3,000 per year (subject to annual review) attached to this role, paid in two instalments in June and December. Eligibility for the next bi‑annual payment after 6 months of employment and successful completion of the probationary period.
• Salary will be £48,091‑£50,181 per year after considering the retention payment.
