Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Principal Design Engineer. You will lead a design team, ensuring effective handover from simulation to design and technical leadership of continuous improvement initiatives for non-conformance.

What will you be doing?

Lead and line manage the team, coordinating workloads, resolving issues, and ensuring delivery against timescales, KPIs, and customer requirements.
Develop team capability through performance management and targeted support to maintain high standards.
Lead complex, high-value projects, delivering innovative, technically advanced solutions and providing expert guidance.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, making informed decisions within organisational and client frameworks.
Drive quality in simulation deliverables and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery stream.
Manage non-conformance, implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
Contribute to engineering strategy, best practices, and process development to enhance operational performance.
