Finance Manager - Construction

Finance Manager | Huddersfield | Up to £55,000 DOE | Permanent, Office Based

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing construction business in Huddersfield. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function and play a key part in supporting the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and cashflow forecasts
• Manage CIS, VAT, PAYE, P11
  
  Ds, pensions, and CITB levy returns
• Oversee subcontractor payments and purchase ledger
• Manage audits with external accountants and Companies House submissions
• Produce valuation applications, invoices, and rebate claims
• Provide financial insight and cost information across the business

• Finance experience within the construction industry (essential)
• Strong knowledge of CIS, VAT, PAYE, and compliance
• Part-qualified, fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or QBE
• Detail-focused, hands-on, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Salary up to £55,000 DOE
