We're seeking a Banking Operations Assistant with a background in accountancy and banking. Working closely with our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our daily banking operations.
Role Overview- Bank reconciliations – ensuring all transactions are accurate and up to date.
- Processing payments – including BACS/CHAPS transactions, cheque handling, and Direct Debit submissions.
- Daily cash reporting – keeping financial records precise and compliant.
- Ledger management – accurately recording transactions for financial reporting.
- Salary – £26,000 per annum.
- Annual leave – 24 days, rising to 26 with length of service. Public holidays included; an extra day off for your birthday.

- At least 12 months of previous finance experience, including bank reconciliations and processing payments.
- Experience of cash & banking, purchase ledger, sales ledger, or related area.
- Good attention to detail – ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and ensure timely payments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
