What

You Will Do
  • Work closely with the Team Manager to manage a dedicated community team.
  • Provide professional support to the team, ensuring efficient coordination and deployment of resources.
  • Oversee a caseload of complex cases, ensuring care is provided according to statutory responsibilities and team objectives.
  • Develop effective systems to screen referrals against eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborate with partners to address referrals creatively using available resources.
  • Prioritise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members based on service requirements.
  • Effectively manage budgets to align with service priorities while communicating strategies to the team.
  • Ensure consistent review and evaluation of Support Plans and adapt as necessary to meet changing needs.
  • Implement and maintain systematic approaches to assessing, planning, and reviewing health needs in compliance with established guidelines.
Requirements of the Team Manager

To shine in this role, you should possess a Degree or its equivalent in social work, hold a current Social Work England registration, and have recent managerial experience, ideally as a Team Manager, DTM or ATM. Demonstrable frontline experience in Adults Services is essential to guide your team effectively.
