Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an award-winning, NHS-approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, criminal and family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments and NHS contracts.

This is an exciting role within a busy service, providing assessments to adults. It is a hybrid role for qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments. Some tasks may be undertaken remotely, but travel to the Huddersfield base is required. The role involves conducting comprehensive specialist assessments using established diagnostic tools, writing reports promptly and professionally, and providing recommendations and interventions.

Depending on experience, the clinician may also supervise and support junior staff.

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Experience in diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with adults
• Knowledge of assessment tools for autism and ADHD
• ADOS-2/ADI-R trained
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in report writing and record keeping
