Senior Financial Systems Developer (Unit4 Business World)

Huddersfield | Hybrid (60% onsite / 40% WFH)

14-Month Fixed-Term Contract (potential extension to 24 months)

We’re working with a large, well-established organisation embarking on a significant Unit4 Business World Cloud Migration. This role will play a key part in delivering that transition, while also supporting ongoing system stability and incremental improvements across Financial Services.

This is a hands‑on, functional Unit4 role - ideal for someone who understands finance modules deeply and enjoys developing and improving how systems work for users.

The project is in early build phase, with a target move to Cloud by November. A major focus will be supporting the transition from desktop to web users and ensuring a smooth adoption across finance teams.

• Supporting and configuring Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Finance modules
• Playing a key role in the Cloud migration programme
• Developing and enhancing modules including GL, AP, AR, Projects, Procurement and Workflow
• Supporting web-based functionality including Incoming Invoices and Project Costing
• Contributing to the build of the Research/Grants module
• Supporting the replacement of the payments module (significant system build)

This is not a heavily technical coding role — it’s about strong functional knowledge and confident system ownership.

• Proven hands‑on experience with Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Finance
• Strong understanding of finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Projects, Procurement)
• Experience supporting or contributing to Unit4 Web and/or Cloud environments
• Ability to configure modules and manage mini-project builds

• Experience of a Unit4 Cloud migration or major upgrade
• Exposure to Higher Education or public sector finance environments
• Experience with Grants/Research modules
