The RoleThis position involves representing adoption carers - including grandparents, aunts, uncles and extended family members - in care proceedings. You will provide advice and representation in matters involving:
- Special Guardianship Orders
- Support plans and allowances
- Care proceedings

Due to continued growth, this Legal 500-recognised firm is expanding its Child Care team. Hybrid and part-time working options are available.
About You- Ideally 1+ year PQE, although applications from all experience levels will be considered
- Strong knowledge of child care law, particularly care proceedings and special guardianship matters
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, client-focused approach
- Experience with legal aid eligibility and/or billing for legally aided matters
- Confident undertaking advocacy or keen to further develop advocacy skills
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment
