Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

Horton Housing is looking for a full-time permanent Housekeeper / Cleaner to support our Bradford-based accommodation scheme. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working. Salary: £24,546.32 per annum. You will receive 6 weeks annual leave, bank holidays, and access to the Employee Assistance Programme. The position reports to the Service Manager.

• Maintain all internal areas of the building clean and tidy to a high standard, including communal areas, toilets, kitchens, staff areas, offices, etc.
• Undertake cleaning tasks as directed by the Service Manager.

• Experience of cleaning offices or accommodation, paid or voluntary.
• Experience using cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
• Ability to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities.
• Use of own initiative.
• Similar role experience advantageous but not essential.

• Maintain professional boundaries.

• Ability to work flexibly to meet service/department needs.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle that can be insured for business use.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
