Space Planning Manager

We are currently working with retail business to recruit an experienced Space Planning Manager to join an to join an established business on a Fixed Term Contract.

You will be responsible for managing your team of space planners to make sure you transform the brands creative vision and overall commercial plans into clear, accurate and customer engaging plans. Working with various internal departments deliver the trade plan vision and ensure everything is aligned including correct planograms are seamless across all formats and channels.

• Working seamlessly with the commercial and product teams to ensure all plan match customer vision
• Converting ranging strategies and space principles into engaging store‑level planograms
• Using customer data and insights to bring all visual plans to life
• Working with tech to ensuring fixtures & point of sale to enhance the customer shopping journey
• Keep systems and processes updated to ensure continuous improvement to ways of working
• Taking full ownership of the plan and acting on escalated issues when they arise.
• Managing and developing a team of space planners, leading by example building a strong and capable team

Key requirements for this role:

• Previous experience in space planning at a micro level withing retail or a FMCG brand.
• Experience of managing and developing a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence effectively at all levels.
• Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
• Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
• Ability to manage a varied workload.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel and Tableau
