On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in producing and maintaining high-quality tools for the injection moulding and die casting industries.

The Role:

Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools for injection moulding and die casting.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.

Program and operate CNC machines with accuracy and efficiency.

Carry out tool calibration and preventative maintenance.

About You:

Time-served Toolmaker or equivalent experience in a related field.

Proficient in CNC programming and operation; CAD/CAM software experience is a strong advantage.

Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.

Competent in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, dial indicators).

Strong knowledge of toolmaking processes, materials, and repair methods.

Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.

Strong team player with good communication skills.

Experience in CAD design/programming would be a plus.
