Rate: £16.00-£18.00p/h

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am- 4:15pm, 37 hours p/w

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, working on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet industry standards. The role will involve welding on a wide range of materials and pipe sizes in a factory-based environment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding to ASME IX and ISO
  3834 requirements.
• Plating and welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (3mm to 100mm thick plate).
• Pipe welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (½” to 12” pipe SCH
  10 to SCH
  80).
• Proficient in welding processes: GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW (1G and 6G positions).
• Oxy/Acetylene cutting.
• Plasma cutting.
• Operation of JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
• Slinging and lifting operations, ensuring safety at all times.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in welding Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex.
• Ability to operate welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW in 1G and 6G positions.
• Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
• Skilled in operating JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
• Strong awareness of safety standards, including slinging and lifting procedures.
• Weld Test on site required
