Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for several mechanical assemblers to join a successful manufacturing business in Huddersfield

The opportunity is based in Huddersfield, making it easily commutable from surrounding areas including Brighouse, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield and Leeds.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler

Assembling a variety of different components.
Working from engineering drawings and the ability to follow instructions.
Carry out daily work assessments to ensure that the work is being carried out safely.
Comfortable and able to work independently, but also part of a team.

Comfortable with assembling a variety of different products.
Previous experience working from engineering drawings.
Comfortable and able to work with hand and power tools.
Working Hours of the Mechanical Assembler

Mon-Thu: 07:00-15:45
Fri: 07:00-12:30
In Return, the Mechanical Assembler will receive.

Hourly Rate: £14.40 (Dependant on Experience)
Early finish on a Friday
25 days bank holiday + bank holidays.
