We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Miller to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-precision components to specification. You will primarily be working on horizontal machining centres using Heidenhain controls.

• Set up and operate CNC machines to carry out precision machining operations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Select, install, and set cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding equipment
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality
• Inspect finished components to ensure conformance to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or quality issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Have solid programming experience

• Scharmann Twin Pallet Horizontal - Heidenhain control
• DEPO 1212 Machining Centre - Heidenhain TNC 530

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer
• Strong experience in CNC milling
• Good understanding of machining principles and mechanical processes
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Familiarity with tooling, power tools, and hand tools used in machining
• Ability to inspect parts and work accurately to tight tolerances

• Experience using Solid Works or other CAD software for reading and interpreting drawings
• Experience with Mazak machines (turning)
