Team spirit is what sets this company apart and the thing they are most proud of. If you’re a skilled Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in clean welds, tight tolerances, and work that really matters, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business supplying high-quality structural components into reputable infrastructure customers. Their work is built to last, inspected to the highest standards, and trusted across the UK.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled, experienced team where quality comes first, and jobs aren’t rushed out of the door.
The Role
As a Welder/Fabricator, you’ll be working from detailed engineering drawings to produce structural components to ISO 9606-1 & 9606-2 standards.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Welding using MAG 135 and MIG 131 processes to approved WPS
* Fabricating components using cutting, bending, and assembly equipment
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols
* Inspecting your own work using callipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
* Keeping equipment well-maintained and your workspace safe and tidy
* Working to strict health & safety standards with the right PPE in place
This is hands-on, skilled work — ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in getting it right first time.
What We’re Looking For
* Time-served or qualified Welder/Fabricator
* Strong experience with MAG 135 / MIG 131
* Confident reading engineering drawings
* Background in a fabrication workshop or industrial environment
* Coded welding experience is a strong advantage
* A quality-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
Typically, candidates will have 2–5 years’ experience, but attitude and skill matter just as much as years on the tools.
Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to work on long-term, stable projects for high-profile customers within the rail and electrical distribution sectors. You’ll be joining a professional and highly skilled team that genuinely values craftsmanship and quality, in a clean, organised workshop environment. The role offers long-term security with a growing and respected manufacturer, along with real opportunities for personal development and progression as the business continues to expand.
In return salary on this position is circa £36.5k - £38k along with company benefits, a position in a growing company and ongoing personal development
