We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator based in Huddersfield (HD4 6BW
).
The client is a Precision Engineering company that produces a wide variety of high-quality machined components.
Pay Rate£18 - £20 an hour based on experience.
Working Hours (SET Day Shift)Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 17.15. No weekends.
Role Duties- Program, set and operate Turning Centres with Fanuc control. Experience with other control systems would be considered.
- Previous programming, setting & operating experience producing one-offs & small batches in a wide range of materials, incl. exotics.
- Quality checking your own work using micrometers, bore mic's, etc.
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Working to tight tolerances.
- Be apprentice trained or have at least 3 years programming/machining experience.
- Have experience producing high quality one-offs and small batches.
