40 hours over 4 days + Overtime Available

• 6:00am – 3:00pm
• 7:00am – 4:00pm

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC professional to join our client’s growing manufacturing team.

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating a large universal bed‑type milling machine with a 4.5‑metre table using Heidenhain iTNC 530 controls. Working from engineering drawings, you’ll produce high‑quality precision‑machined components while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy and efficiency.

• Program, set and operate a large CNC bed‑type milling machine.
• Machine precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Use Heidenhain iTNC 530 controls.
• Carry out machine set‑ups and tool changes.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.

• Experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, CNC Setter or CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator.
• Manual Machinist experience.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Previous experience using Heidenhain controls (iTNC 530 preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.

• Experience operating a manual centre lathe.
• Experience machining large components.
• Background in precision engineering or heavy engineering.

• £35,000 – £40,000 salary (depending on experience).
• Permanent, full‑time position.
• 40‑hour working week over just 4 days.
