Purpose of the role
To support the efficient and safe operation of the Carding Department by maintaining carding equipment to the highest standard, ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and production continuity. The role plays a key part in delivering a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while contributing to continuous improvement across departmental operations.

The day to day

• To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.
• Carry out roller fettling using approved tools and techniques to optimise machine performance and product quality.
• Monitor equipment condition, identifying and reporting defects, wear, or maintenance requirements to minimise downtime.
