FMCG Food Manufacturing Quality Assurance Coordinator / Maternity Cover Contract

We have an excellent full-time, temporary contract opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support food safety, quality assurance / QA and compliance within a food manufacturing environment, working closely with the technical function to maintain high standards.

SALARY: up to £35,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

LOCATION: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Temporary Maternity Cover Contract (up to 10 months)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join a food manufacturing site on a maternity cover contract of up to ten months, starting in March 2026. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will support the Technical Manager in ensuring all food safety, quality and compliance standards are consistently met in line with internal procedures and BRCGS requirements.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will play a hands-on role within production, carrying out inspections, audits and checks to ensure products meet specification and quality expectations. This role is well suited to someone with previous food industry experience who enjoys a varied quality-focused position within a manufacturing environment.
