Protection Support Consultant — Omnicore (Omni Protect), Huddersfield

Full Time | Permanent | Remote (with optional hybrid from Huddersfield HQ)

Omnicore is part of Fintel Services and home to Omni Protect — the UK’s largest protection club, working with over 4,000 directly authorised financial services firms. Their mission is to make protection advice simpler, improve advice quality and deliver better outcomes for clients across the industry.

They’re looking for an experienced financial services professional with a background in protection to join their telephone account management team.

You'll be part of a team that acts as a one-stop shop for intermediaries with protection questions, handling mostly inbound calls. Day to day you’ll be managing adviser relationships, promoting Omni Protect’s propositions, hitting sales targets and using data to spot growth opportunities.

You’ll also use social media, email and online presentations to engage advisers, and develop a strong understanding of Omnicore’s technology solutions to help identify the right referral pathways for members.

Internally the role is known as Protection Telephone Account Manager — and it’s a strong stepping stone for anyone looking to progress into a senior protection account management position.

• Previous experience in financial services sales, particularly in protection
• R01 and R05 qualifications (or equivalent) — or a commitment to working towards them
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable analysing data to inform decisions and identify opportunities
• A sales-driven mindset with a genuine passion for customer service

You’ll be professional, eager to learn and comfortable working to targets. Someone who can build trust with advisers quickly and communicate the value of a proposition clearly and confidently.

This role is primarily remote but the Huddersfield office is available if you prefer a hybrid arrangement. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
