Location:
Outlane, Huddersfield
Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 per annum DOE
Contract Type:
Permanent, Full-time (42.5 hours/week)

Role Overview
Do you want to work for one of the fastest growing specialised Truck Rental companies in the country? We are looking for an organised, customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our sales director and wider team and ensure smooth end-to-end sales operations. You will act as the first point of contact for prospective customers, process orders accurately, manage sales documentation, and help the team hit targets by keeping administrative work running efficiently.
This is a great role for someone to grow within a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, quotations, and accurately using our CRM system
- Answer phone calls and emails from existing and new clients, answering queries or passing requests to sales director / relevant department
- Update and maintain customer records, sales data, and contact details
- Prepare sales reports, monthly performance summaries, and presentation materials
- Coordinate with workshop, logistics, and finance teams to resolve delivery or payment issues
- Track outstanding orders and chase up overdue payments where needed
- Help organise sales meetings, client visits, and promotional events in conjunction with marketing
- Support sales director with travel arrangements, sample requests, and contract preparation
- Keep up to date with product information to give clients clear and correct details
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Good GCSE (or equivalent) grades in Maths and English
- Proven experience in an administrative, customer service, or sales support role
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional manner when dealing with people
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with in the HGV industry – sales, service or rental
- Experience using CRM software
- Basic knowledge of sales processes or commercial products
- Experience processing invoices or working with accounts teams
