Access North is on the lookout for a new Apprentice Fall Protection Technician — someone hands-on, switched-on, and ready to learn a seriously cool trade.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and inspecting fall-protection systems (safety lines, fixed ladders, handrails, anchors, walkways, etc.)
• Working alongside experienced technicians on real sites, learning the trade hands-on
• Getting involved in access & rigging work
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
• Travelling to different client sites (some working away will be needed)
• Learning how to stay safe at height and follow safety rules properly
• Completing a structured training programme leading to your
  NVQ Level 3 Fall Protection qualification
