Housing Support Worker
2 months+ part‑time, 37 hours per week, £17–£18 per hour (Umbrella).
Location:
Huddersfield, travel to Heckmondwike required.
- Work across dispersed properties supporting young people aged 16‑25.
- Assist with access to employment, education and training opportunities.
- Assist with the set up and management of utilities and bills.
- Support clients to apply for benefits.
- Complete sign‑ups and inductions.
- Manage a caseload.
- Make referrals.
- Liaise with third‑party agencies.
- Complete support plans and risk assessments.
- Enhanced DBS (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
- Previous experience working with vulnerable clients within a housing support capacity, ideally with young people.
Applicants purely from a care background will not be considered. Applicants must have worked within a housing support capacity.
