Kirklees Council and Macmillan Cancer Support are extending their partnership, and need a Benefits Advisor to help people affected by cancer – and their families and carers – get the income support they’re entitled to.
You’ll give detailed welfare benefits advice by phone, home visit and drop-in, represent people at tribunals and work with health professionals who refer clients. Strong benefits knowledge, organisation and real empathy are essential. Permanent, 37 hours a week.
