Warehouse​/Stores Operative

We are recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse / Stores Operative to join a busy textiles environment based in Huddersfield. This is a physically active role involving stock rotation, heavy lifting, and the movement of materials between departments.

This is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Moving stock to and from the Inspection Department
• Loading and unloading goods
• Assisting with goods in/out processes
• Maintaining accurate stock levels
• General warehouse housekeeping duties
• Supporting wider warehouse operations as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred
• Experience with in a textiles environment desirable (not essential)
• Confident with heavy lifting and being on your feet throughout the shift.
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive, can-do attitude

Hours:

7:30am 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

7am 12pm Friday
