Oncology Nurse Regional Cancer Program

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will ensure high-quality care aligned with RVH's standards and the College of Nurses of Ontario. Preferred qualifications include post-graduate education in Oncology Nursing and Palliative Nursing. One year of experience in acute care nursing is essential, alongside proficiency in Central Venous Access Devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care within established guidelines

• Maintain a patient-centered approach in all interactions

• Assist with Central Venous Access Device management

• Collaborate with an interprofessional patient care team

• Document procedures and patient progress accurately
Requirements:

• Current Registration from College of Nurses of Ontario

• BCLS certification; CMH de Souza course preferred

• Minimum one year acute care nursing experience

• Experience in Oncology nursing preferred

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
