HCA Healthcare is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative anesthesia team at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, a $50,000 start date bonus, and a practice with no obstetrics, pediatrics, or trauma.
Position Overview- Staffing model of 4 General Anesthesiologists, 2 Cardiac Anesthesiologists, and 6 CRNAs
- Annual surgical volume of approximately 7,000 cases, averaging 26 cases per day
- Four main ORs plus three NORA locations:
Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Endoscopy - No obstetrics, pediatric, or trauma cases
- Scheduled Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- General call is beeper call from home: 7 days per month plus 1 weekend per month
- Additional compensation available for extra shifts
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted Florida medical license
- Current Florida DEA registration or ability to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
