Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech)

We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet your patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures.

• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures
• Assist in soothing and positioning patients
• Maintain sterile techniques
• During procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physician
• After the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization
• May also transport patients to recovery

• Bachelors degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred
• Two (2) years of Electrophysiology experience
• ACLSandBLS required
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral)
