American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN Case Manager for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of hospital case management experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

• Case Management/Utilization Review unit in a 290-bed main hospital building
• Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, five 8-hour days per week
• Patient ratios of 1:25 on floors and 1:20 in urgent care units for Case Managers
• Social Worker ratios of 1:30 for ICU and 1:40 for floors
• Uses iPad, computer, and cell phone for daily tasks
• Reviews conducted in Meditech, documentation in Midas, and referrals managed through Careport platform
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

• Active RN license (FL or Compact)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital and/or case management experience required
• Experience with Midas, Interqual, and Meditech preferred
• Acute hospital case management experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Florida requires two professional references

• Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and discharge planning with patients and families
• Facilitate and lead multidisciplinary rounds (MDR) discussions as needed
• Ideal candidates are independent, proactive, and strong communicators with critical thinking skills
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if minimum experience requirements are met
