Who is the Sales team and what do they do?

The sales team at Untill is just getting started — and this role is the first step. This is our first dedicated sales position, and you’ll help build the sales function from the ground up, setting the tone for how we grow, sell, and show up with customers. Working directly with the CEO, you’ll help shape our sales and growth strategy and then take it into the field by building relationships with grocery, food service, and distributor partners.

You’ll grow our presence in the market, keep existing customers happy, gather feedback, and bring real‑world insights back to the team so we can keep improving what we grow and how we sell it. As Untill scales, this role will help lay the foundation for the future sales team, from culture and relationships to process and strategy.

This is a full time, on‑site role that requires flexibility including weekends and holidays as needed. Will report to the CEO.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in produce sales, specifically in New England
  • Strong relationships with grocery retailers, food service establishments and wholesale distributors
  • Proven ability to get new products on shelves and grow existing accounts
  • Deep understanding of produce supply chains and the retail/food service buying process
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools such as Tableau. Creating models is a plus
  • Hungry to learn, explore and try new ideas to solve challenging problems
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and solve challenges in the field
What you’ll do:
  • Grow all sales channels to drive revenue via wholesale distribution
  • Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities and partnerships
  • Secure new retail placements and food service accounts, getting Untill products onto store shelves and menus
Account Management & Customer Success
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by gathering feedback, communicating with internal stakeholders and addressing issues in the field
  • Ensure that grocery stores are using, storing, pricing and merchandizing our products correctly and effectively
  • Plan and execute marketing activations such as in‑store sampling events, promotions and sales programs
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and refine sales and growth strategies
  • Execute sales plans in the field through direct customer engagement, store visits and account follow‑ups
  • Track sales activity, pipeline progress and sales KPIs
