We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated team.

Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet. This role involves a combination of on-road service and in-shop maintenance, ensuring our vehicles are always in optimal condition for operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of 40+ heavy vehicles.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and identify mechanical issues.
  • Complete necessary repairs, including engine work, brake systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed; welding certification is a plus.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide on-road service throughout New England as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
  • Welding skills; certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout New England.
