- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in C programming and strong debugging skills
- Strong Linux development skills and experience with distributed storage systems
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Architectural knowledge of scalable distributed system architectures
- Familiarity with I/O and network stacks, RPCs, and file system fundamentals
- Understanding of consensus algorithms such as Paxos or Raft
- Working knowledge of FUSE
