Salary: $14.41/hour

• Ability to communicate effectively with students
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
• Prior experience with children desirable
• Physically capable of actively supervising and/or assisting students
• Ability to effectively carry out routines and procedures in cafeteria
• Ability to communicate with the school's faculty, staff and administration when necessary to resolve an issue
• Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience with children is a plus.

• Follows procedures for an orderly lunch program, notifies the school nurse or office in case of a student injury
• Responds appropriately to student behaviors consistent with the school discipline policy
• Promotes and encourages good table manners, eating habits and common courtesies
• Ensures that students practice proper cleanliness in the cafeteria
• Promotes a positive cafeteria environment
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment for students
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the school principal
