Job Description
As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will work directly with customers to identify needs, review project requirements, and develop system proposals. You should have extensive knowledge of automation hardware, controls, standards, and design concepts. Excellent communication skills are essential to explain our solutions' advantages. You will work effectively in a self-managed team environment, making decisions on work prioritization and time management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to analyze information quickly and accurately.
- Experience in industrial automation and controls engineering.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (Solidworks, Draft Sight/AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 5%).
- Medical device industry experience is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering with 10-15 years of experience preferred.
