SAP Finance Business Analyst and Project Manager

Join Teledyne Technologies to lead financial process improvements in SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA) as a technical business analyst and project manager.

This position gathers requirements, designs solutions for financial processes, leads projects through their full lifecycle, manages project resources, and communicates project status and risk to all levels of the organization.

• Configure SAP finance modules at the project level.
• Act as project manager for large SAP upgrade projects.
• Support systems and services interfaced to SAP.
• Apply functional knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.
• Translate user requests into application system solutions.
• Analyze user requirements to design and implement system configuration and enhancements.
• Resolve business issues by collaborating with internal and external groups.
• Define requirements for forms and reports and design test plans.
• Coordinate end-user training documentation and provide training.
• Coordinate majority of project management functions including scheduling and communication.
• Travel to sites as required.

• 10+ years of SAP SD experience.
• BA/BS degree.
• Strong SAP FI technical configuration and business process knowledge.
• Experience in an S/4 environment preferred.
• Integrated SAP environment experience across multiple countries and functions.
• Production support and project experience.
• Solid project management experience, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Project management certification a plus.
