This supply chain leadership role will be responsible for setting strategy and execution of a key program area within the PGSS product line. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, a strong level of business acumen, and experience leading a team of supply chain professionals in a growth environment.
The Director will drive the development and implementation of supply chain risk reduction strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to develop progressive supply chain approaches, to support the growth of the business, and to meet or exceed business area and functional goals and objectives. This senior position collaborates regularly with other internal senior leaders from programs, manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, finance, contracts, and externally with supplier leadership.
This role requires on-site presence that will vary based on the needs of the business area and its leadership team. Only candidates who are, or will be, within local commuting distance will be considered. Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Overseeing all aspects of Business Area supply chain growth strategy associated with current and future business needs.
* Developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives, including but not limited to, inventory management, procurement, and production planning. " times="">
* Elevating the capabilities of the supply chain team and its interactions with other functions to deliver on operational and financial goals.
* Collaborating with supplier executive leadership to manage strategic relationships and ensure delivery of contracted requirements. 10.5pt;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="">
* Monitoring market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to anticipate potential risks and opportunities to the business.
* Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. 10.5pt;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="">
* Being an engaged member of the Business Area Leadership Team, advising the team on all aspects of supply chain execution. 10.5pt;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="">

* Related Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years' work experience, or equivalent experience
* 8 plus years in a highly regulated manufacturing industry
* Broad discipline experience in a multi-plant supply chain environment
* Experience leading geographically diverse teams
* Experience with supply chain management software and systems
* Strong understanding of key elements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
