Principal Operations Program Manager

Mercury is looking for an experienced Principal Operations Program Manager to serve as the bridge between Operations and the P&L for sustaining programs in the Compute line of business, accountable for EAC’s, Operations BOE in support of proposals, and overall operational performance.

• Serve as main point of contact for operations into the Integrated Program Team for sustaining programs – from material procurement through hardware delivery
• Utilize robust framework for assessing operations content on EAC’s, including risk & opportunity evaluation
• Manage basis of estimate process for proposal activities

• Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal & external stakeholders
• Experienced with Operations Basis of Estimates, to include experience with quick turn requirements to support labor and material requirements, and process improvements as needed.
• Detail oriented approach to assessing program health, risks & opportunities
• Experience managing a budget
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems
• Background in at least one of the following: manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, program management, process engineering
• Experience working in an IPT structure
• Experience leading teams and succeeding in a matrixed environment
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, based in Hudson, NH
• Willingness to travel >25%, with expectation for high level of travel up front

• Experience with DoD & Aerospace Industries
• Proficient in Earned Value Management
• Working knowledge of PowerBI, Mendix & advanced excel tools

Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position

• $87,100.00 - $ annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
• $97,600.00 - $ annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
• $ - $ annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ
