Job Summary:Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting‑edge technology to mission‑critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. The Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Job Responsibilities:- Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions.
- Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
- Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
- Perform various mechanical operations under a microscope up to 50% of the time
- Disassemble and re‑assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Install and route cables in small form factor assemblies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Typically requires one year or less of mechanical assembly experience.
- Must have meticulous hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with assembly drawings/procedures.
- Must be comfortable working under a microscope.
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
- Work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Electronics assembly and inspection experience
- IPC‑610 experience
- Hands‑on experience building PCs
- Hands‑on experience with torque values and other mechanical rework
- Experience with cable management
