This includes overseeing the studio and theatre space as well as a licensed NYS after school program. They handle all day-to-day operations as well as determine long term goals, strategies, budgets, and deadlines for the organization. The ED meets with the board quarterly and whenever necessary.

They must seek board approval for all major decisions and significant purchases.

Croton Academy’s studio helms many classes, performances, and events every year. The ED works with the Theatre Producer to create a calendar of such programming every season. The ED works with the Theatre Producer on show selection, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, marketing, communication, and overall logistics.

After School Program

Croton Academy operates two after school programs in the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District (CHUFSD) located at the Carrie

These programs are overseen by the New York Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). As such, the ED must be familiar with the OCFS regulations. Each program is operated by a Site Supervisor who reports to the Program Director.
