Option Care Home Health LLC invites candidates to apply for the Lead Pharmacy Technician role under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist. The Lead Technician assists the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor with leading pharmacy technician operations in accordance with Option Care Health policies, procedures, state professional standards, and regulations. Experienced in all aspects of medication compounding and clinical pharmacy, the Lead Technician plays a significant role in the coordination of patient services.

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing – ensure sterile preparations meet clinical needs, quality, safety, and environmental control requirements throughout storage, transportation, and administration.
• Coordinate and prioritize prescription processing; function at an advanced practice level if allowed by state regulations.
• Operational Oversight – create technician schedules, analyze operational data, recommend improvements, assist in developing policies and processes, and help ensure training needs are met.
• Inventory Maintenance – lead activities related to accurate inventory levels, resolve vendor/supplier issues.
• Patient Support & Experience – develop processes and scripts for patient inquiries.

No supervisory responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Must be licensed and/or registered if required by state.

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Ability to perform advanced level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic email skills; basic Internet Explorer use (browsing, searching, bookmarking, navigating, filling forms).

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching.
• Ability to carry at least 30 lbs.

• Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT).
• Previous home health experience.

Salary to be determined by applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. Pay Range: $27.26–$45.45 per hour.
