Cook (Full-time, 1st or 2nd and Every Other Weekend)

We are seeking a full‑time afternoon Prep Cook, often referred to as a Dietary Cook, at Danbury Senior Living. This position is available on 1st or 2nd and every other weekend.

Pay range: $16.00/hr – $17.00/hr based on skills and experience.

• Prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special event foods under the direction of the Executive Chef.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• At least one year of cooking or dietary experience.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or nursing facilities is helpful but not required.
• Positive outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of working with seniors.
