We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Guru (or want to be guru) to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality pizzas that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques will ensure every pizza meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Duties- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other food preparation tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Handle food production tasks including dough kneading, topping assembly, baking, and finishing touches to ensure timely service.
- Maintain accurate food handling practices, adhering to all health regulations and dietary guidelines.
- Support the dietary department with meal preparation, catering events, or special dietary requests as needed.
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or culinary assistant with a focus on pizza or similar.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination.
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production environments.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
