About

This position plans, coordinates, and executes all sales efforts to achieve maximum market share while maintaining professional relationships with each customer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities
  • Be the voice of the customer for assigned accounts to foster revenue and satisfaction.
  • Own the entire technical sales process, from cradle to grave:
    • Meet leads and prospects, identify their needs, demo devices, and propose solutions.
    • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and proactively seek new accounts.
    • Develop proposals and submit quotes through computer software.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of product.
  • Meet sales revenue goals (if set).
  • Research and execute local requirements for government sales.
  • Support marketing by participating in trade shows and maintaining a CRM database of leads.
  • Work with third‑party distributors to multiply presence in designated market or territory.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and other engagements.
  • Travel up to 50‑85% of time, often domestic and international.

Essential Job Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a science degree.
  • 2 to 5 years of technical B2B sales experience.
  • Or, in lieu of a degree, 9 years of technical B2B sales experience.
  • Technician Certified Training via CEIA USA within one year of hire.
  • Working knowledge of WTMD, Open Gate, ferromagnetic detector, and hand‑wand devices.
  • General knowledge of active vs passive detection.
  • Thorough knowledge of which detector model applies to general security, high security, and focused security (electronic detection, flammable liquid detection, etc.).
  • Preferably engineer trained within CEIA USA within 18‑24 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of company products.
  • Previous experience in relevant industry.
  • Self‑directed, motivated, and able to multitask.
  • Knowledge of customers and market required.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport; willing to travel.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic fundamentals.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into a value proposition for clients.
Working Conditions

This job operates primarily in an office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, talking and hearing. Specific vision abilities are required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The position requires up to 50‑85% travel, often domestic and international.
