** THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
** Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate. This position will work closely with our Warehouse Manager to ensure on-time delivery of parts to job site locations, while keeping our warehouse inventory up to date and organized. The ideal candidate will have great communication and organizational skills. This is a key position for our growing team, which requires attention to detail in all aspects of assisting with parts delivery to ensure timely completion of projects.
** WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)*
* * Process incoming shipments of materials and validate received items against purchase documents and record in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
* Process outgoing shipments of materials to customers, including packing and shipping documents.
* Manage inventory movements and ensure all inventory is stored properly in assigned location.
* Perform monthly cycle counts.
* Pick and load parts requested, and record inventory assignments.
* Unload parts requested and return to stock, and record in the ERP system.
* Prepare outgoing packages, including packing and shipping label.
* General housekeeping of warehouse, as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by Controller, Operations Manager, or General Manager.
* Deliver materials to job site, if requested by supervisor.
** WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU*
* * Two years of experience in warehouse environment.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Excellent driving record.
* Excellent organization and communication skills.
* Strong technology skills, including using common ERP systems for Warehousing, MS Office.
* Ability to handle heavy equipment (i.e., forklift) to process incoming or outgoing shipments.
* Two years of experience driving and delivering inventory (large truck/dual rear wheel vehicle).
* Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
* Forklift certification.
