Accounts Receivable Manager – Shared Services
Location: Twin Cities, MN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Compensation: $99K–$154K salary + 5% Bonus + Profit Sharing
About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead an enterprise collections team within a dynamic, high-volume environment. This is a working manager role focused on driving collections performance, managing customer credit risk, and delivering accurate financial analytics. You’ll oversee a team of 7 direct reports, while partnering closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders. This position offers strong onboarding support and long‑term growth potential as part of succession planning for future leadership opportunities.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing collections team
- Oversee enterprise‑wide collections activities (~$200M outstanding A/R)
- Manage customer credit risk and partner with Legal on escalated matters
- Deliver robust A/R analytics, including DSO, bad debt accruals, and balance sheet reporting
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and management reporting
- Drive process improvements and system adoption following a major A/R system implementation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (other degrees considered with relevant experience)
- Proven success leading a high‑volume collections or customer service organization
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and mitigation strategies
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in complex, multi‑system environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to make judgment‑based decisions daily
- Hands‑on leadership style with a commitment to ethical business practices
