Burkwood Treatment Center is looking for a BHA direct care worker who is passionate about recovery and giving back to the local community by supporting our clients.

Shift & Compensation

Second shift Full-Time/Every other weekend BHA.

$500 Sign on Bonus!

Essential Job Functions
  • Help clients adhere to the facility's group and activity schedule.
  • Drive clients in the facility van to local A.A. meetings.
  • Assist clients toward completion of required educational materials including worksheets, videos, and audio files.
  • Work effectively in teams and demonstrate respect, inclusion, empathy, support, kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to learn recovery concepts and practices.
  • Be familiar with or become familiar with Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF).
Education / Experience / Skill Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Within 90 days of hire, receive CBRF Medication Management training to assist clients with medications. Training is provided.
  • Working knowledge of various aspects of substance use and mental health (willing to learn).
  • Must work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
