Role at Hudson Hospital & Clinic

• Interview patients and document basic medical history.
• Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart.
• Review annual wellness questionnaire with appropriate patients.
• Administer immunizations.
• Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls.
• Enter orders for laboratory services.

• Current CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (AAMA or AMT) or current LPN (WI License required).
• Clear and helpful communication skills, teamwork and positive interpersonal relationships.

• One year medical assistant or LPN experience in a clinic preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions with patients/families/clinic staff members.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions.
• Understanding of patient education needs and ability to effectively share information with patients, family members and clinic staff.
• Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
