Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional after-sales service and support. You will be responsible for both planned and unplanned service activities, ensuring that our customers receive top‑notch service and fostering strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of GEA Equipment, Solutions, and Services.
Responsibilities / Tasks- Maintain and install equipment by performing planned and unplanned maintenance tasks and executing installations.
- Deliver high‑quality service: perform tasks with professionalism, maintain clear communication with customers, and establish trust.
- Identify and report service opportunities proactively.
- Act as the face of the company, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Troubleshoot and repair GEA and other manufacturers’ equipment efficiently.
- Support service projects by providing technical expertise and assistance.
- Conduct site visits and audits to monitor equipment performance.
- Coordinate and document: liaise with other departments, prepare estimates, and maintain detailed service records.
- Adhere to safety standards: follow all GEA Group and customers’ HSE standards and regulations.
- Completion of high school and a certificate/diploma in a relevant technical field (preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and diagrams.
- Competencies in mechanical and PLC/HMI troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in problem‑solving, customer service, record keeping and quality management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and excellent planning, professionalism, and teamwork abilities.
